Q1. Will we be moving offices?

There are no immediate changes to your current working location. Turner & Townsend offices will also be available to team members from January 2025.

Q2. When will we get to meet our Turner & Townsend colleagues?

We have an engagement plan to help manage how we can get to know each other over coming weeks and months. At the moment our leadership teams are engaging so that we can understand priorities, clients and transition arrangements and in the near future, we will look to connect our teams more directly so that you can meet your new colleagues. We’ll provide more details and appointments soon and in the meantime, please continue to focus on delivering great services to clients.

Q3. What will happen now about EOY Office Closure?

As above, you will have the same benefits and entitlements that are provided at CBRE. The End of Year (EOY) office closure period is the same for both organisations and will not be different from the current approach. The dates for the EOY closure are from 20 Dec, with the first day back 6 Jan.

Q4. I need to change my bank details/personal details.

For bank details or personal information changes post 1 January 2025, these will need to be submitted via Preceda. Your existing bank/personal details as recorded in PeopleSoft will be transferred over to Preceda.

Q5. When and how will we get access to new systems?

We’re currently reviewing all the business apps we use across Turner & Townsend and CBRE Project Management, and we will develop a proposed future state that leverages the best of both businesses. To minimise disruption there won’t be any changes in the immediate term, but we expect to have a future state digital offering in 2025. On Day 1 access to all existing applications will continue to ensure business continuity for our clients.

Q6. Where could I find the branding guidelines and templates?

In the Loop, go to Downloads section and scroll down to Brand Downloads, you will be able to find Go-to-market guidelines, Logos, Templates, Typography (Fonts) and more.

Q7. What could I do for my email signature?

In the Loop, go to Downloads section and scroll down to Brand Downloads, you will be able to find the instruction on how to update your email signature directly in Outlook.

Q8. Could I find any teams background for my meetings?

In the Loop, go to Downloads section and scroll down to Brand Downloads, you will be able to find a selection of desktop backgrounds and virtual backgrounds with our branded elements.

Q1. How will the performance review process be impacted? (For CBRE team only)

Please close out your performance reviews via Talent Coach for the process which is underway. The promotion consideration will be done with your line manager as part of the performance review process, with the timing to align with the 2025 remuneration changes.

Q2. How will the promotions process for 2025 work?

The promotions process will be the same for the upcoming 1 April 2025 promotions, with leadership nominating in January/February 2025.

Q3. Will my benefits change? (For CBRE team only)

Turner & Townsend will employ you on the same terms and conditions and remuneration as your current employment with CBRE with effect from 1 January 2025. You will have the same benefits and entitlements that you currently have as set out in your CBRE employment contract. If you would like a copy of your employment contract please contact peopleoperations@cbre.com.au.

Q4. Can I see the new employment contract? (For CBRE team only)

You will receive your letter of transfer after the CBRE communication session. We confirm that the terms of your existing contract of employment with CBRE will apply to your employment with Turner & Townsend with effect from the Turner & Townsend Start Date. All references to CBRE will be deemed to refer to Turner & Townsend from that date.

Q5. Can I see the Turner & Townsend policies?

Your existing policies and procedures regarding employment will continue so Turner & Townsend's employment and working policies won't be shared as part of the initial integration process. As we progress with the integration you will be able access this information and other broader policies at the appropriate time.

Q6. Will parental leave entitlements change? (For CBRE team only)

As above, you will have the same benefits and entitlements that you currently have at CBRE as at date of transfer.

Q7. How do I apply for leave? (For CBRE team only)

Please continue to input your leave via PeopleSoft up until date of transfer. Leave applications after that time will be submitted via the Turner & Townsend system (Preceda). Training will be provided for employees and managers for the new system.

Q8. What happens to leave already booked in the system? (For CBRE team only)

Leave that has already submitted and approved via PeopleSoft will be transferred over to Turner & Townsend, and submitted on your behalf into Preceda. New leave applications will need to be submitted via Preceda after 1 January 2025.

Q9. What if I want to change pre-booked and approved leave? (For CBRE team only)

If you wish to make changes prior to 1 January, please process this via existing CBRE processes and systems. After 1 January, all leave changes will need to be processed via Preceda.

Q10. How do I get access to my payslip?

Payslips for January 2025 and beyond will be available via Preceda.

Q11. Do I need to notify anyone about my salary sacrifice arrangements? (For CBRE team only)

No, all existing salary sacrifice arrangements will be transferred over and processed via the Turner & Townsend payroll process.

Q12. I have a query about my payslip. (For CBRE team only)

For queries on existing payslips up to and including December 2024, please contact CBRE Payroll at PayrollQueries@cbre.com.au & CBRE People Operations at peopleoperations@cbre.com.au.

For queries on payslips January 2025 and beyond, please contact Turner & Townsend payroll at payroll.au@turntown.com.

Q13. I need to recruit for a new role, who do I speak to?

Any resourcing requirements will be supported by the Turner & Townsend Talent Acquisition Team, contactable at recruitment.anz@turntown.com. Training and support will be provided for Hiring Managers.

Q14. I have a general HR query, who do I speak to?

General queries should be submitted via The Loop or for sensitive matters, contact the Turner & Townsend HR team in the first instance – hr.welcome@turntown.com.

Q15. Will the remuneration or bonus process change for transitioning CBRE people?

The remuneration and bonus process and timing will be the same for the 2024 performance year. The timing on these is: Bonus payments made in March 2025 and remuneration changes effective 1 April 2025.

Q16. Will I be paid on the same day from January onwards?

Yes, the payment date will remain the 15th of the month.

Q17. What do I do if I am requested to work over the Christmas period even though I have entered my anticipated leave?

Please advise your line manager and HR Welcome email address of any changes to your leave over the Christmas period.

Q1. Should I be changing my social media to T&T from Day 1?

You are welcome to update your employer on LinkedIn from 1 January 2025. Should you need any guidance or support on this, please contact your usual shared services marketing contacts.

Q2. In relation to future CBRE communications that come through to my emails after Day 1 that require action like an office closure do I have to action?

Please liaise with your usual shared services support team if you need clarification on specific requests regarding CBRE facilities, IT, systems and processes. As Day 1 is the start of the integration process, we recognise that there may be office or system specific procedures or protocols which need to be followed still to maintain operations. Turner & Townsend’s shared services teams will work with CBREs to ensure you receive guidance as required.

Q1. Will I get a new laptop and mobile? (For CBRE team only)

You will keep your current CBRE devices (computer, tablet, phone etc.). If there are any exceptions, the individuals impacted will receive detailed communications in due course. If your device is due to be replaced as part of the standard refresh cycle, this will proceed as per existing processes.
