Dear colleagues
Welcome to our new Europe-wide page on The Loop. This is where we’ll be sharing updates, videos and other materials relating to our combination in Europe. Please do visit it so that you can keep up to date with what’s going on in our region.
We started our journey to create One Business by bringing Turner & Townsend and CBRE Project Management (PJM) together in June 2024. Since then, we’ve seen huge progress across all teams. I believe combining our businesses offers us all a unique opportunity for growth, more diversification, and a great platform to attract top talent to work on our iconic projects.
Both teams have been working hard to ensure a smooth and efficient transition, while recognising that timelines and experiences may vary across different parts of Europe. I understand that ambiguity is challenging to deal with, but we are making good progress.

Leadership Changes: Europe and Netherlands
From 1 October 2025, Remco Kroeze will lead our Netherlands business in addition to Belgium and Luxemburg, becoming Managing Director, Benelux. Luke Bartolo, Managing Director of Netherlands for 10 years, moves on to a new challenge as Europe Occupier and Retail Lead at the same time. Congratulations to both.

Meet Bahri Yuksel, Technical Project Manager, Bettina Wuerfel, Managing Director for Germany and Austria, and Pieter Frederix, Head of Building Consultancy, Europe, as they talk about the opportunities our combined businesses are bringing to their teams.
Bettina talks about Austria being one of the first countries to transfer and how the many learnings helped in Germany. Pieter’s team brought a successful Due Diligence operation to T&T and are excited to work in new segments.

Enterprise Project Management
Penny Mocini explained how EPM stands out by being closely tied to CBRE’s day-to-day building management, which helps deliver smooth and reliable service across different locations. She described four flexible ways in which the EPM team support clients: dedicated teams, agency help, small changes (MAC), and full project delivery, each tailored to what the client needs. The main goal? Win the client, keep them happy, and keep adding value. She also highlighted how teamwork, strong leadership, and being present in client buildings help uncover new chances to support and grow with them.

Renier joined CBRE from Turner & Townsend in 2018. For his cost management team the opportunities include access to The Hive and the utilisation of shared data for our clients. Due to the localised setup of CBRE, we now have a wealth of data that can be used to supplement Turner & Townsend’s local cost advice to clients on projects. He is also excited to be able to offer principal contracting to clients that Turner & Townsend are providing CM and PM services to.

Based in Madrid, Elena holds the dual role of Head of Sales Advisory for PJM, Continental Europe and Head of Business Development for PJM Iberia. She is focused on identifying new strategic business opportunities, setting the sales strategy and managing client relations within project management. We spoke to Elena about her learnings from the acquisition with Bovis in Spain and what opportunities our integration opens in this region.
