Q1. Will the employer's Tax Identification Number change? Will CBRE employees be separated and integrated into a new Tax Identification Number?

We are in the process of finalizing the most effective strategy for the employee transition, ensuring it is carried out as smoothly and gradually as possible with minimal disruption. This strategy involves multiple stakeholders and key decisions are required. The process is still ongoing, and once a final decision is made, more detailed information and guidance will be communicated to the team immediately.

Q2. When will we know the specific details for the country where we are based, regarding the transfer from one company to another, bureaucratic procedures (new employment contract, whether there will be changes to the annual vacation dates, if there will be changes to the current health plan, etc.)? In my case, specifically for Brazil.

The current plan is for Brazil to complete the transition by the end of Q2 2025. We are actively working on the transition plan, focusing on defining the best approach for our team. This strategy involves multiple stakeholders, and there are still many details to be defined. More information and clarifications are expected to be provided to the team by the second quarter of 2025.

Q3. I was reading the last The Loop and saw the 'operational guide' article. I saw that it is divided between CBRE PJM and Turner & Townsend operational guide. I wanted to enter the CBRE PJM link, but it pops a window with a message error. I think because I'm from Turner & Townsend.

The operational guide for Mexico will be available on April 1. The operational guide has the same content for both CBRE PJM and Turner & Townsend employees; however, it is hosted on different systems. If you work for Turner & Townsend, you should access it via the Turner & Townsend link, and vice versa for CBRE PJM employees.

Q1. What will happen to the CBRE Project Management training records when they are transferred to Turner & Townsend?

All learning history should be transferred along with the CBRE PjM employees. Details regarding the systems are still being defined and will be communicated as soon as these decisions are made. For now, we encourage our team to make use of the available learning and development resources.

Q2. How will the combination of our businesses affect career advancement opportunities within the organization?

This change will bring significant opportunities. The integration will result in an expanded geographic presence, a larger client portfolio, and access to major projects, clients, and global programs. We believe that ambitious and talented professionals will have access to incredible opportunities across the company.

Q3. Does this mean that partnership opportunities for Turner & Townsend employees will be limited in the future, as CBRE partners will be prioritized?

We expect that the growth of Turner & Townsend’s business will create more opportunities for both CBRE PjM and Turner & Townsend colleagues, strengthening our partnership.

Q4. I am currently completing the Project Management Professional Certification sponsored by CBRE. How will this be handled in the new entity? (For the CBRE team only).

Employees will continue to have access to all existing learning resources, including the PMP certification, under the new entity.

At this moment, there are no plans to change the office locations, which will remain the same on Day 1 for all PJMs. The combined leadership teams will work on developing the long-term strategy for each region throughout 2025.

Q2. Who will be responsible for formulating the integration plan for the regions and providing updates and additional information as they become available?

A joint integration team of leaders from CBRE and Turner & Townsend is developing the plan for the entire process, following the established guidelines. We will share updates as the planning progresses.

Q1. Will our clients receive communication about the exciting plan to merge CBRE’s Project Management with Turner & Townsend?

In the coming weeks, we will reach out to our clients to update them on our plans and what this will mean for them and their businesses. We will inform them that we will continue to provide integrated services and that this unification strategy will strengthen our ability to support them, so they can continue to succeed in their activities and projects.

Q2. What will happen in countries where CBRE is better known and has a larger team than Turner & Townsend?

We are currently gathering information on how each country operates in the market and considering the brand strength of both CBRE PjM and Turner & Townsend. We will use this as a foundation to develop recommendations, which we will share for consideration once we are ready.
